Tributes sent to us after Tim passed away

"I think of Tim a lot - he was a good friend and is sorely missed by us all"
- Nicola

"I was very sorry to hear of Tim's death...he fought very long and hard. I think that everyone who looked after him was impressed by his character, spirit and good humour"
- Dr Marples

"I never got the chance to meet Tim in person but did speak to him on the phone a few times...I would usually answer the phone and he would be on there laughing and telling me what a sexy voice I had. He would then pass the phone to someone else, I would then have to say hello to them so they could agree with Tim.

He would tease me and ask when I was going to leave my husband and run away with him...he always left me laughing after our conversations. I really wish that I had met him. He had such a zest for life. He has touched my life through his friend Mark, the pictures brought back from England, the phone calls, and the many stories Mark has told me. It is interesting how someone you have never met (in person) can affect you in such a way"
- Val

"Tim became a very close friend of mine, and I had the wonderful pleasure of sharing some fun evenings on MSN with him...infact most nights towards the last few months, we had some fun times and some sad times but I will always remember him in the fondest ways. He was a great, kind guy that helped me through some tough times so I hope I helped him too. I will always have good fun memories of him...he became a great friend to my two daughters as well...but you know as well as I do....if he could have had his way...yes he would...it became a great joke between us...only a few weeks before his sad passing, he was winding me up...he came to work saying "I've had my hands down Kerry's trousers"...that being my 20 year old daughter and Charlotte's best friend...I was just about to tell him off when he followed it up with..."don't panic...Charlotte was wearing them!!!!!!!". That's just the man he was, anything for fun...I've lost a very good friend"
- Lorraine

"We are both proud to have known Tim and to call him our friend. He will be remembered forever as a courageous, genuine, fun-loving person from who we can all learn how to live and love to the fullest. Thinking of Tim brings smiles to our faces, as we relive the fun times we shared, and those memories are what will keep Tim alive in our hearts forever...xxx"
- Lynne and Alex
