Tributes sent to us after Tim passed away

"Tim was a very special person. I will always remember him as happy and fun and he made me smile. I consider myself lucky that his life touched mine and he will always be part of my childhood memories"
- Julie, Mick, Thomas and Charlotte

"It has been a pleasure to have known Tim, having been friends since we worked together at the Nags Head...he never changed over the years, priorities remained the same...women and beer!! I hope you all managed to gain some comfort from the numbers of people who turned up to pay their respects to Tim at his funeral. He would have been in his element, all those women crying over him! I will miss him terribly, no more 1am chats (drunken ones), but will always remember him."
- Vicky

"Tim will always have a special place in my heart as in Sarah's...I can remember the very first time I stumbled across him...I had just started at Thorne Road and I stood with my jaw dropped not knowing how this guy was able to charm any woman that he set his eyes on.

Tim would always make me laugh...I remember the first beer I had with me mate Tim...he invited me around his house on Sprotborough Road. As I walked through the kitchen door I was amazed to look just below and see can after can of empty Carling beer cans - as I walked into the living room more beer cans surrounded the entire perimeter of the room - what a cool idea I thought to myself. I spent many times down at that house, as the same for Tim at our house. Tim would fit in like a member of the family..."how ya doing sweetheart" he would say to my mum.

I'm really going to miss the times Tim would call at some crazy hour on his way home in a taxi after a good night out on the town, not being able to hardly understand a word he was saying at the time but he always ended the conversation "I love and miss ya mate"

When I did come over this last time I did ask Tim if there would be one thing he could wish for what would it be...he said he would love to be able to have kids and he said that any chance I get that I should have kids. I'm just like Tim, I would like to have a family to myself one day - I made one promise to him and I will keep this promise for the rest of my life...when Sarah and I have a family (and I'm sure we will have a boy) I told Tim that I would make sure that my son's middle name will be Tim or Timothy.

I'm so glad that I have these memories of your son, he will always have a special place within my heart and his memory will never be forgotten. Tim touched everyone he came across which is why he was such a special person to everyone who knew, not knew, KNOWS him."
- Mark and Sarah
